Works great as expected. The bottle is bigger than thevregular 21oz size but to be expected from a double wall bottle.

I love the redesigned lid. Way easier to keep clean.

I add ice with water including electrolytes. In 98 degree weather, water stays icy for about 45 minutes, cold for about two hours, and cool just under three hours -- I'm very satisfied as it is far better than anything else I've used. I wish they had a smaller bottle with this same construction as it is very tall within a bottle cage; however, in the thick of trail riding, I have yet to have one fall out: I have three: one on each fork and the third on the front downtime. Because of the mud, I purchased the accessory mud caps for each bottle plus a spare. That accessory keeps the part of the cap clean where my lips make contact. I had another brand that covered the whole top piece -- which mostly kept the mud out; however, when weather was dry, the dust would get under the cap and contaminate the mouth piece. Not so with the Camelbak mud cap -- highly recommend that cap. Some have complained that the top of this cap is hard to use, claiming too hard to squeeze -- don't squeeze it -- suck on it and the fluid rushes in; some complain that the twist 'lock' is too hard to use when riding -- leave it unlocked -- fluids do not leak out when riding -- I consider the lock as an additional means to secure fluid not necessarily riding, such as in the back of the vehicle when transporting the bike to/from the trails. I have not had an issue with the bottle cage marking up the bottle other than that which is somewhat easily removed in the sink (however, I have expensive cages). Overall, nothing is perfect; I wish they had a smaller size to ensure the bottles don't fall out of the cages -- but that has not yet been an issue. I usually stop to drink every 15 minutes, and had less than 1/2 inch slippage that is easily corrected: Highly recommend with accessory mud cap if trail riding in excessively hot weather -- nothing better.
