Holds enough for a 1-2 hour MTB ride. Rides well. I have stowed a vest away in the water bottle holder. The bottle was on my bike.

It's hard to truly gauge how much this pack can hold based on the pictures. I rarely ride without a small first aid kit, sam splint and bike repair kit, and this can hold all of it plus snacks and more. I still haven't maxed it out! I rarely notice it's there when I'm riding. Super comfortable, and really breathable. So much better than a backpack. Combined with a bottle on the bike, I have enough water for all but the longest rides. I put a small knock on quality because the decals on the bottle were peeling when it arrived. Doesn't affect the performance at all, but I had to scrub it really well before using it because the decals were coming off in flakes and sticking to everything. I have a spare bottle that doesn't have this issue, so it seems something made it past quality control.
